Dear Students,
For our class on Monday, 17.6, please do as follows:
- Do the attached exercise on the use of logical connectors of contrast and similarity.
- Continue your work on the comparison between cars and motorcycles we started in class (also attached here).
Please work basing yourself on the handout on comparison and contrast and use various expressions of contrast/similarity.
- Watch the video on “Language Myths” mentioned in the attached file and answer the questions that follow it. Be ready to discuss its content in class.
If you did not attend class on 10.6, please
do the attached exercise titled "Logical connectors of contrast 2 - class" as well and send it to me by e-mail.
I am also re-attaching our Scientific News presetation schedule for you to start practicing.
