Dear Students,

As I explained in class, we are now starting to learn how to describe scientific processes.

The grammatical skills necessary to do this well are the following:

-      Mastery of the Present Simple (both active and passive)

-      Mastery of logical connectors of sequences

-      Mastery of logical connectors of cause and effect

For our class on Monday, 15.7, please go over the attached handout on logical connectors of sequences and do the exercise on the process of RECRUITMENT IN INDIAN AIR-FORCE.

In addition, please do the attached exercise on processes, where you have to use the correct form of the Present Simple (both Active and Passive)

 In class, we shall also go over the text on popluation growth and the video on drug dvelpoment. So please make sure you are preared to discuss them.
