Course Goals and Objectives

GOAL: To endow you with a base of knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to become a knowledgeable and successful software and systems engineer.

OBJECTIEVES: To expose the students through self-learning and teamwork to: (1) the basics of MBSE – Model-Based Systems Engineering; (2) conceptual modeling; (3) working in a real modern software system development environment; and (4) working in a team-based environment.

Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) is an emerging approach to coping with the complexity of current and future systems. During the early stages of system development, there is much ambiguity and uncertainty; an important goal is to remove them.

Usually, there is no single correct answer as in most subjects you have studied so far, but there may be several correct answers, though not all at the same level of value providing.
