Welcome to our Master's Writing class!My name is Mr. David Levy----davidlev@technion.ac.il------
Have for every class 2 sample articles in your field--Classes are mandatory - 100% attendance
You may miss up to two classes - but will be asked to make at least 1 class with another graduate-writing group.
To make up a class, contact the teacher to let them know you are coming (list of makeup classes will be updated here)We have extraordinary circumstances.
Therefore, talk to me and let me know what is going on with you!
We will have special accommodations for those who need it!Our classes are from 14:30-16:30 on Sundays in Ullman 705 -
Included here are instructions and hand in suitcases for:
- Pre-test
- Introduction official task
- Results/discussion official task
- Presentations

5-minute presentation for a general scientific audience
Please sign up to present (link on Moodle in announcements/emails). Your presentation should be about your current research/studies, and designed to be understood by a general scientific audience. Your presentation should be accompanied by a few power point slides to illustrate your ideas. All presentations must be uploaded to Moodle the day before the presentation. Basics of what is academic science writing
Short pretest - no extra materials.
Instructions will be "revealed" in class. -
In this we will discuss the difference between phrases and grammar in English.
We will review basic, well-structured sentences and mention the use of phrases in this regard.

As we progress, we will talk about:
1. How to use the tenses correctly, grammatically.
BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY - we will talk about when to use each tense to create the meaning I wish to create!
